Natural Stone · In-House Fabrication Since 2018
Every granite slab we install is uniquely patterned, precisely templated on-site, and fabricated in-house at our Auburndale shop. We have sourced, cut, and installed granite countertops across Polk County since 2018.
Natural Stone — No Two Slabs Alike
Granite is an igneous rock formed under extreme heat and pressure deep in the earth's crust. The mineral composition, including quartz, feldspar, mica, and various trace elements, is what creates the unique color, pattern, and crystal structure in each slab. No two granite countertops will ever look exactly the same, which is both the material's defining appeal and its defining challenge.
That uniqueness requires hands-on slab selection. We recommend visiting our Auburndale showroom to compare material in person. Looking at granite on a screen or in a small sample chip does not tell you what a full slab will look like in your kitchen under your lighting. Our team pulls full slabs for you to evaluate before any order is placed.
Granite is a porous natural stone. It requires sealing at installation and on a regular schedule thereafter, typically every 1 to 3 years depending on the specific stone and how heavily the surface is used. We seal every granite countertop we install and walk you through the maintenance schedule before the job is complete.
For outdoor kitchens and lanais, granite is one of the few countertop materials that performs well in direct Florida sunlight. Unlike quartz, it is UV stable and will not yellow or discolor from sun exposure.

Slab selection matters: Every granite slab is unique. We pull full slabs for you to review before any fabrication order is placed. What you see in person is what gets cut for your home. We do not finalize an order from a sample chip or a website photo.
Why Granite
What Polk County homeowners ask us about granite before they decide whether it is the right material for their kitchen or bathroom.
No two granite countertops will look the same. The mineral composition that creates the pattern varies from slab to slab within the same quarry lot. Homeowners who want a one-of-a-kind surface that no catalog can replicate choose granite for exactly this reason.
Unlike quartz, granite does not contain polymer resins that degrade in UV light. This makes it a reliable choice for Florida outdoor kitchens, lanais, and covered areas where the surface receives direct or reflected sunlight throughout the year.
Granite formed under extreme geological heat. It handles hot pots, pans, and baking sheets placed directly on the surface without cracking or discoloring. A trivet is still good practice, but accidental contact with hot cookware will not damage granite the way it can damage other materials.
Granite scores 6 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it resistant to scratching from knives, pots, and everyday kitchen use. The surface does not show wear marks under normal conditions. It is one of the hardest naturally occurring countertop materials available.
Granite countertops are consistently cited in Florida real estate listings as a selling feature. The perceived quality and longevity of natural stone is well established among buyers. An investment in granite typically returns a meaningful portion of its cost in resale value, particularly in Polk County's competitive housing market.
Granite countertops that are properly sealed and maintained last for decades. We have seen granite installations from the early 2000s in excellent condition in homes across Polk County. The stone itself does not degrade. The maintenance requirement is sealing, not replacement.
Edge Profiles
The edge profile is the finished edge of your countertop. We fabricate all standard profiles in-house. Compare options at our Auburndale showroom before your order is finalized.
A square edge with the top corner slightly softened. Clean, modern, and the most common profile in current kitchen design. Pairs well with flat-panel cabinet styles.
A 45-degree angled cut along the top edge. Slightly more decorative than an eased edge while remaining contemporary. Good for transitional kitchen designs.
A fully rounded top and bottom edge. Traditional and soft in appearance. A common choice for bathroom vanities and older home renovation projects.
An S-curve profile with a convex upper section and concave lower section. More decorative and formal. Often chosen for traditional or Mediterranean-style kitchen designs.
Waterfall edges, mitered profiles, and custom edge requests are available. Ask our team at the showroom or when you call.
How It Works
Visit our Auburndale showroom to review full slabs in person. We do not take orders from sample chips. You see the actual material that will be cut for your home before we place the order.
We visit your home to take precise measurements of your countertop layout. Seam placement, cutout locations, and edge profiles are confirmed at this visit so fabrication is accurate to your actual space.
Your granite slab is cut, edged, and finished at our Auburndale fabrication shop. Every cut is made by our own crew on our own equipment. No third-party fabricators.
Our crew delivers, sets, and secures the countertop. We handle sink cutouts, seam finishing, and silicone sealing at all wall transitions. The worksite is cleaned before we leave.
We seal your granite countertop at installation and walk you through the sealing schedule specific to your stone. You leave with a clear understanding of what maintenance your countertop needs and when.
