Flooring Materials We Install
Our Lakeland showroom carries samples from every flooring category we install. Compare materials side by side in real lighting before you decide. Each flooring type has specific performance characteristics for Florida's climate, and we walk you through them honestly before you commit.
Luxury vinyl plank is the most practical flooring choice for most Florida homes. Waterproof core options handle moisture, humidity, and the temperature swings that buckle and warp other materials over time. Our most-installed flooring type across Polk County. Subfloor moisture test is included on every LVP installation.
The best choice for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and covered lanais. Fully waterproof, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. We install large-format tiles and standard sizes with consistent grout line spacing and proper substrate preparation on every job. One of the most durable flooring options for Florida's wet areas.
A cost-effective option for bathrooms, laundry rooms, and mudrooms. Durable and available across a wide range of colors and finishes. Ceramic is slightly more porous than porcelain, making it better suited for lower-moisture applications than full wet areas. We guide you toward the right tile type for your specific space.
Engineered and solid hardwood for climate-controlled living spaces. We provide honest guidance on which hardwood products perform in Florida's humidity and which require tighter moisture controls. Engineered hardwood is better suited to Florida conditions than solid wood in most applications. Every installation includes proper acclimation time and moisture management.
Wood-look performance for bedrooms, offices, and rental properties. A practical choice in dry rooms where you want a strong visual result at a competitive installed cost. We are direct about which spaces laminate is appropriate for and which are better served by LVP. Modern laminate handles light moisture better than older products, but it is not waterproof.

Visit the Lakeland ShowroomHow We Handle Every Flooring Installation
Every flooring project follows the same process. The free on-site estimate is not just a measurement visit. It is the step where we identify subfloor problems before they become installation problems.
Compare flooring samples at our Lakeland showroom under real lighting. Our team covers the performance differences, maintenance requirements, and appropriate applications for each material before you commit.
We visit your home to measure accurately and inspect the existing subfloor. Moisture testing, levelness checks, and assessment of what prep work your floor actually needs. This is the visit that prevents surprises on installation day.
We handle any required subfloor work before materials arrive. This includes leveling compounds, moisture barriers, removal of existing flooring, and repair of damaged areas. Skipping this step is how floors fail. We do not skip it.
Our installation crew places your flooring with proper acclimation, expansion gap management, and finish work at all thresholds and transitions. The worksite is cleaned at the end of every day and completely on job completion.
We walk the completed floor with you before the job is closed. You receive care instructions specific to your flooring type. Any transition pieces, reducer strips, or finishing details are confirmed before we leave.
Flooring Repair Services
Not every flooring problem requires a full replacement. We assess the damage, identify the cause, and recommend the most practical repair option. If the damage is localized and a close material match is available, a targeted repair is often the right answer.
Isolated planks that are cracked, lifted, or water-damaged can often be replaced individually without disturbing surrounding flooring. We source material matches from our current inventory and supplier relationships. If an exact match is no longer available, we advise on your options honestly before work begins.
Cracked tiles, failed grout lines, and hollow spots from failed adhesive are among the most common repair requests we receive. We handle individual tile replacement, full re-grouting, and repair of the underlying substrate when the cause is a moisture or structural issue rather than surface damage.
Scratched, dented, or water-stained hardwood can often be sanded and refinished rather than replaced. We assess whether refinishing is feasible based on the thickness of the existing floor and the severity of the damage. For localized damage, board-by-board replacement with matching species and stain is available.
Squeaking floors, soft spots, and uneven surfaces often indicate a subfloor problem rather than a surface flooring problem. We diagnose and repair subfloor damage before it causes flooring failure, including damaged plywood, moisture-compromised sections, and structural movement issues.
Before you replace, let us assess it. Many homeowners call us expecting to replace their entire floor after seeing damage in one area. In a significant number of cases, a targeted repair is possible and substantially less expensive. Contact us for a free assessment before ordering materials.
