KCD · Tribeca · Semi-Custom Cabinetry · Polk County, FL
Semi-custom cabinetry coordinated with your countertop and flooring selection. KCD and Tribeca cabinet lines, professional installation, and one team handling the entire kitchen renovation from cabinet box to finished countertop edge.
About Our Cabinet Lines
Most kitchen renovations stall because cabinets and countertops are ordered from different vendors who don't coordinate. The countertop arrives before the cabinets are fully installed. Or the cabinet finish doesn't pair with the slab choice the way it looked in the showroom. Or the install sequence collides between two crews.
We carry both KCD and Tribeca cabinet lines specifically so cabinets and countertops can be specified, ordered, and scheduled together. The cabinet door samples sit next to the slab samples in our showrooms. Once selections are locked in, the install sequence is coordinated by one project lead: cabinet boxes set, countertops templated against the finished cabinet line, then both installed in the correct order.
KCD and Tribeca are both semi-custom lines, which gives clients meaningful flexibility on cabinet size, door profile, drawer configuration, and finish without the lead time of fully custom shop-built cabinets. Most cabinet orders ship within 4 to 6 weeks of order. Fully custom builds are also available on request for projects with unusual size or design requirements.
For full kitchen renovations, the same project schedule covers flooring installation from our Lakeland showroom. Three trades, one timeline, one point of accountability.
Walk in to either location to see cabinet door samples paired with our quartz and granite samples on the showroom floor.

Door Profiles
The door profile defines the aesthetic character of your kitchen more than any other single decision. Here are the four profiles available across both cabinet lines.
Flat center panel with a simple rectangular frame. The most-installed profile today. Works equally well in modern, transitional, and traditional kitchens. The default recommendation when in doubt.
Single flat slab with no detailing. The cleanest modern profile. Best paired with handle-free pulls or slim edge pulls. Strong contemporary aesthetic.
Center panel raised with decorative routing around the edge. Traditional and formal aesthetic. Pairs naturally with ogee or bullnose countertop edge profiles.
Door sits flush within the cabinet frame rather than overlaying it. The most labor-intensive construction and the most expensive profile. Premium custom kitchens.
Project Coordination
The order in which the trades work matters. Done in the wrong sequence, you end up either damaging finished flooring or templating countertops against unfinished cabinet faces. Here is the standard sequence we follow.
Remove existing cabinets, countertops, and flooring. Inspect and prep the subfloor for new installation.
Cabinet boxes set first. Plumbing rough-in coordinated. Finished cabinet faces protected from subsequent trade work.
Digital templating happens after cabinets are set. Captures real-world cabinet placement and wall variation for precise fabrication.
Flooring goes in after countertops are templated but before final countertop install. Installed up to cabinet base.
Fabricated countertops installed, plumbing reconnected, final walkthrough. Total typical project: 4 to 8 weeks.
Why this sequence matters: Templating countertops before cabinets are installed produces inaccurate measurements. Installing flooring before cabinets means damaging the flooring during cabinet work. Installing flooring after countertops creates difficult cuts around finished surfaces. The order above prevents all three issues.
Cabinet & Countertop Pairings
Cabinet color and door profile choices steer countertop selection more than most clients realize. Here are the common pairings we recommend.
The most popular modern pairing. White or light-grey quartz with marble-look veining over white shaker cabinets. Clean, bright, broad appeal for resale.
Dark shaker or raised panel cabinets paired with dramatic granite slabs. Traditional and visually striking. Works well in larger kitchens with abundant natural light.
Contemporary flat-panel cabinets paired with matte-finish quartz. Sleek, modern, minimalist. Best for kitchens with handle-free pulls.
White uppers, dark lowers, paired with Calacatta marble on an island. Premium aesthetic for clients with realistic marble maintenance expectations.
Premium traditional kitchens. Inset cabinets are the highest-craft profile available, paired with natural granite for one-of-a-kind character.
Marine-grade outdoor cabinetry paired with porcelain slab for fully UV-stable performance. The only countertop material we recommend for outdoor installation.
